In a conversation with “Armenpress” Serge Avedikian underscored: “I have started working over “The Last Round in Istanbul” 10 years ago. It reflects upon the consequences of the Armenian Genocide and it’s very difficult to approach them. The heroes of my movie are Armenians – orphan brother and sister. The sister sells her body; the brother is a boxer. The story begins, when a Turkish boxer comes to the town and the Armenian hero called Armen must struggle with him.”
