Programs Artsvi Bakhchinyan (born 1971, Yerevan) is a researcher in Armenian studies and film, Ph. D. In 1988-1993 studied in Yerevan State University (department of Armenian language and literature). Since 2009 he works at the Institute of History of National Academy of Armenia. He is contributing to periodicals of Armenia and abroad with articles on film, culture and Armenian Diaspora. He is the vice president of Armenian branch of FIPRESCI (International Union of Film Critics and Cinema Journalists). Since 2004 he participates in Yerevan first international film festival "Golden Apricot" as programmer. Author of more than ten books, as well as "Armenians in World Cinema" (in Armenian, 2004). He has participated in international conferences, festivals and meetings. |
